When I was a kid, I loved playing with my mom’s makeup, especially her Chanel eye shadow set. I always kept that passion, but in 2009 I became obsessed. I’d practice looks on my sisters and friends, research all the best products, and post tutorials to my YouTube channel as I learned.

At the time, I was working at a bank, watching the clock tick ever so slowly. But at the same time, my YouTube channel was getting hundreds of thousands of views. So one day, I quit to do what I really love: makeup!

First, I got some seriously good training at the Make Up Forever Academy in New York City. To this day, I get much of my inspiration from using high-end American products to produce distinctly Indian looks.

Then, I came home to Bombay, my hometown and the world’s best city, and started doing what I love: helping women be their most beautiful selves.

Since then, I’ve been lucky to do some great collaborations with Maybelline, L’Oreal, and Famebox’s Beauty and the Blogger. And I’ve now done makeup for hundreds of women, in every region and for every occasion. If you’d like a reference, just reach out.

And when I was just getting started, Bloomberg picked up my story, which was pretty fun. Check it out.
